Habla Yoga in Tulum, Mexico: January 3rd - 17th, 2015
Tulum is full of vibrant art, tasty tacos, endless beaches, live music and lots of dancing! We offered public yoga classes in the pueblo at the old Mint bar above the Wayan store and found this to be a wonderful way to integrate into the community, especially having one of the local musicians serenade our public yoga classes! We also found ourselves practicing yoga on the beach, by the pool and at the cenotes -- underground caves full of agua dulce (fresh, sweet water).
We are extremely grateful for those who helped make this experience of bringing Habla Yoga to Mexico possible.
Thank you participants and volunteers!!
Muchas Gracias to Gabo (local Yoga teacher, massage therapist and Temaskal guide) for lending yoga mats, to Carlos Cajiga who played live music during our classes, and for those who helped pass out fliers, cleaned and prepared the space that we were able to use. Everyone involved made it possible in order for Habla Yoga to offer donation based bilingual classes for the public!
We wouldn't be surprised if we return to Tulum in the future, stay tuned!
